About Us
Lucky Horse started as a small Christmas pop-up. It was never meant to be permanent — just a warm space during the holidays. But something about it stayed with us. It felt like it could grow into something more.
We are located in the heart of Chinatown International District (Seattle, WA), and that means a lot to our family. This neighborhood carries history — immigrant stories, sacrifice, resilience, and community. Those are values we grew up with. Hard work and resilience. Staying grounded and showing up for each other.
Lucky Horse is evolving into a Vietnamese-inspired brunch and lunch cafe with coffee, fresh pastries, creative sandos, and comforting plates. But more than that, it’s meant to be a space where culture and community meet in a modern way.
At Dochi (our sister concept), one of our core beliefs is that everyone is fighting a battle we may not see, and that small acts of kindness can make a real difference. We want Lucky Horse to carry that same spirit. Whether it’s a warm drink, a shared pastry, or simply a place to sit and reset, our hope is to create moments that make someone’s day a little better.
And if we build it right, Lucky Horse won’t just be a daytime cafe. We see it becoming a late-night hangout too — where conversations last longer, friends gather for after dinner, desserts are shared, and culture continues into the evening.
This isn’t just about coffee or food for us. It’s about building something rooted in heritage, driven by community, and grounded in kindness.
A little lucky. A little bold. Alot of heart.
